There is never any shortage of things to do or places to go in Sydney, and that couldn’t be any truer now that the Sydney Festival is in full swing. The festival, originally conceived by the Sydney Committee, the NSW State Government and the City of Sydney in 1977, aims to attract locals and tourists alike to the city’s centre. In the 40 years that have followed, the event has transformed into one of Australia's largest cultural celebrations - known for its vast range of programming. From delicious food stalls, impressive theatre productions, and even a giant inflatable duck, you never quite know what to expect.
